100% of the profits from ReTails Thrift Shop support THE $20 FIX, our targeted spay/neuter assistance program that enables low-income pet owners to spay/neuter their pets for $20. ReTails is owned and operated by AnimalKind, a nonprofit organization established in 1998.

Hours of Operation & Special Savings

Payments Accepted
We accept cash, and Visa and Mastercard (credit and debit) - no checks, AMEX, or Discover please.
Donating Items to ReTails
We accept donations Tuesday through Saturday from 10am - 5pm and Sunday from 1pm - 4pm.
Except for the items listed below (which we are unable to sell), we gratefully accept all donations of gently-used clothing, furniture, and household items.
We Cannot Accept:
- Baby and Children's Items such as toys, clothing, shoes, play sets, car seats, cribs, and other children's furniture and equipment.
- Bed Pillows (non-decorative)
- Carpeting or Carpet Remnants
- Computers or computer parts, fax machines, printers
- Encyclopedias
- Flammable Liquids or Volatiles
- Gas Grills
- Home Building Supplies
- Gas-powered items or equipment
- Large Appliances (washer/dryer, refrigerator, etc.)
- Large Exercise Equipment
- Mattresses
- Mildewed Items
- Non-working Electronics
- Games with missing or broken pieces
- Window Treatment Rods or Blinds
At times, our donation supply exceeds demand for certain categories of merchandise. When we have surplus, we either donate it to local charities or sell it for export to countries with short supply, with the income from those sales going to THE $20 FIX program. We always try to ensure that usable surplus merchandise goes to people who need it (or in the case of blankets and towels to animals that need it!).

Take the Beltline (I-440) to the Wake Forest Road exit. Travel north 1.3 miles. Turn right on Old Wake Forest Road (see Bojangles on your left, Red Lobster on your right). Make an immediate right on North Market Drive. ReTails is on the right side, across from "Pueblo Supermarket".
Riding the bus?
ReTails Thrift Shop is located just off CAT Route # 2 (Falls of Neuse). Get off at the intersection of Wake Forest Rd. and Old Wake Forest Rd. (by Red Lobster). ReTails is across from Pueblo Supermarket.
