If you are a North Carolina State employee, a Federal employee, a corporate or Durham city employee, its easier than ever to donate to your favorite charity! AnimalKind participates in the following campaigns:
- SECC: State Employees Combined Campaign
- CFC: Combined Federal Campaign
- City of Durham Seven Stars Campaign
- Triangle United Way Additional Giving Program Campaign. AnimalKind has a Designation Code with the Triangle United Way. So if your workplace has an annual United Way Campaign you can specify that your gift comes to AnimalKind by writing in our code! Only designated gifts of $50 or more will reach AnimalKind. Gifts under $50 will go to the United Way General Fund, so please consider a contribution exceeding $50.
These workplace
campaigns generally take place in the fall of every year, and
offer an organized method through which public and private sector
employees can donate to the charities of their choice. Workplace
giving is simple and effective for the employee,
for the employer, and for the charity. During a workplace giving
campaign, employees are provided with a list of charities to which
they may contribute through payroll deduction, or as a one-time
gift.
Many employees choose to give through payroll deduction; even
a small amount each pay period will add up over the year. With
payroll deduction, there are no monthly installments to remember,
and no big checks to write. Gifts of any size are welcome. The
$10 you pledge every pay period, for example, is an amount youre
not likely to miss. Yet it means $260 for the charities of your
choice. Thats an important contribution.
Please look for these campaign materials in the fall!
