The Humane Society of the United States
reports that in communities where integrated sterilization programs
have been implemented, the number of animals euthanized has declined
30-60%.
The AnimalKind® Poster Campaign

AnimalKind has designed a series of compelling
spay/neuter and adoption posters. They are available now and they
are free. Help us get the word out by posting these in your workspace,
church, library, gym, hair salon, coffee shop, etc. Contact us for
more information.
The Spay/Neuter Newspaper Campaign

In 2001, AnimalKind launched a mass
media campaign in the Triangle area of North Carolina. This education
campaign represents a first-ever, unified effort endorsed by key
representatives of the animal welfare and veterinary communities.
The collaborative effort has:
- Encouraged more than a quarter million people
to spay/neuter their pets
- Supported, not duplicated, the work of shelters
and rescue organizations
- Tackled the source of the overpopulation
problem
- Promoted a unified approach to saving
animals
